Gua Maria Lawangsih Kulonprogo

For those who are Catholics, it is usual to come to such special places for praying in places like Basilica, chapel, and cave in Jerusalem or Vatican..

Here in Indonesia we usually have special places to pray or meditate like Mary Cave (Gua Maria).. There are so many Gua Maria in Indonesia, such as Gua Maria Sendang Ratu Kenya (Wonogiri), Gua Maria Sriningsih (Klaten), Gua Maria Lourdes Sendang Sono (Kalibawang, Kulon Progo), and Gua Maria Sendang Jatiningsih (Moyudan, Sleman)..

And now I want to report my visit to a new Gua Maria.. It is named Gua Maria Lawangsih... It is in Dusun Patihombo, Ds. Purwosari, Kec. Girimulyo, Kab. Kulon Progo...

I went there with my Bf.. Ahahaha..

You know what, because this place is somewhere up a mountain, we needed to be extra careful.. And don't be surprised if you try to go there, you will surely have a bumpy ride.. The hill is so steep..

But we were absolutely satisfied by the beautiful view up there.. The cave is really great.. When you are beneath it, you will feel the water drops down from its stalactite.. You can take this water as holy water.. Usually people take it home..

When we came, this Gua Maria was not full of people, so we could pray well in silence.. The atmosphere there really supported visitor in doing meditation..

Beside the statue of Mary, we could see a small opening to another cave.. This small cave lied deep to the right side..

We could see the statue of Jesus inside it.. Some mattresses were provided with wooden chairs for visitors to do meditation..

This meditation room smelled good like a blend of clove and sandalwood.. I was amazed by its natural structure.. It was really cozy there..

Don't worry of the weather.. I guarantee, here the air is fresh and rather cold..

The view outside the cave was not less wonderful.. However, I will share the pictures later...

New Year Eve Back to Bike

My Bf planned to cycle around Malioboro, Jogja, in New Year Eve.. And that was awesome..

We started to bike at 11.45 p.m. from Pojok Beteng Wetan and stopped in Zero Kilometer Zone, Malioboro..

I didn't think Malioboro Zero Kilometer Zone would be very crowded.. Even it was hard for us to bike..

When the clock stroke 12, people started to lit fireworks.. Sadly we could not watch the whole fireworks clearly because we were way too far from the spot.. See the photo below, the sparks of the fireworks look so far away.. (though actually it was less than half a kilometer)

Finally we had a spot to rest.. (The fireworks had stopped, though)
We met some people who belong to a certain club, like Fixie bike club, Low rider club, and Tall bike (pit dhuwur) club..
There are some fixie bike beside me in this picture below..

It was fun to meet people in that time of night.. We met some high school boys who rode Fixie bikes.. One told us that they were actually from SMA 8 Karawaci, Tangerang.. They came by plane and had their bikes shipped by train.. What a surprise..!!

Christmas Report

The happiness in Christmas eve was the reason I went back to Jogja, again, for this holiday..

As usual we went to church, St. Petrus & Paulus Klepu.. The church was special that time because it was decorated beautifully with a real large cave decoration in the front.. (Psst, my BF was one of the decoration division..)

Hey y'all..

It seems that holiday is everyday.. :D

Finally I can come back here again with stuff..

Here I spent a three-weeks Christmas holiday in Jogja (again), but sure it was much much much better than other holiday.. Since it was about three weeks, I finally had time to take pictures... :D

First, in Wednesday, December 22, 2010, I had an opportunity to use an SLR camera and learned a bit of it.. *sigh

Hmmm.. Do I look disgusting here? You probably say yes... Ahahaha...

The white T-shirt is my sister's stuff (again)... Ahahaha... And the cap belongs to my BF... Ahahaha... Steal.. Steal.. Steal... Well, at least I wore my own jeans and undies... (Whatt!!)

I love this red jacket.. I got it in DM (again)  :(  for half a price.... Really love the white flowers detail around the inside of the hoodie.. Nice steal !!!

Please do not look at my nose... I hate to see the fact that acnes ruled my nose at that moment.

Here is a report from Jogja..

Well.. Finally I got a short holiday for a moment to visit my hometown after Merapi explosion..

The night before I got back to Jakarta I spent a very little time to take pictures..

This picture was taken in front of Tugu train station.. Tired was I when my BF took the shot... Well it was already 10 p.m. and I had to go back to Jakarta in the next morning.. I had not even packed my stuff..

But it was fun!! Hmm.. Look at my outfit that day.. I do not know why but it was just comfortable.. My sandals were my favorite.. Ahahah... I've told you in previous title.. And the tote bag? It was given by my friend 2T.. She said that she gave it to me because one time I told her that I needed a new tote bag... THANK YOUUU SO MUUCHH, 2T.. Next time I will tell you about everything I want, I wish you will grant all... Ahahahha...

Other stuffs? Hmm.. That black cardigan was bought in Ambasador with my super-chic-friend 2T (again) and my other cute friend Marie, for about Rp. 100,- Fair, right.. The black legging was for Rp. 80,- Whether this stuff was too small or my thighs were getting bigger, but I felt like it was getting tight to wear..

And the last, my army-green dress.. I was dreaming (well, not a real dream) about having this kind of army-green stuff... After searching and hunting (waiting, actually), I got it discounted (this what I wanted to tell you) for 50%!!!.. From Rp. 250,- it became only about Rp. 125,-  Hmm, I should say thanks to everybody... (?)

Lost in Grey

My last holiday was mostly spent for gathering with family and friends... I felt like I had no time to take pictures..

Well, but I still have some files to post here...

Ahahahh.. Talking about grey color.. I really don't remember the last time I had a grey stuff.. I mean, I never bought something in grey actually, especially clothing... Here finally I wore grey cardigan.. Please don"t accuse me, but I admit it used to be my sister's... But I had bartered it with black cardigan of mine.. Fair.. she got it from MNG for Rp *** ....

Guess what!! I put on a scarf.. It's something new for me since I never had any.. This scarf was bought in Ambassador for only Rp 10.. (with my lovely friend 2T who masters all the shopping places in Jakarta) =DD (note: I really can't wait to shop with her again since she has made shopping like an adventure.. LOL..)

I got the white sleeveless top somewhere in DM for Rp 48.. Ahahahah... At first I regretted it.. But finally I found it cute with face prints on it..

Well, for the skinny blue jeans, it was Teen Jeans, which I was supposed not to wear it since I was no longer a teenager.. But it just fit my body and I was comfortable with it, so I bought it (again).. The real price was Rp 250 but I got 50 percent discount.. What an item!!!

The white sandals were other story.. 2T told me there was a really BIG SALE in Charles & Keith.. We went to SMS to look for stuff.. She got 4 pairs of shoes... (Oh my Ghost..!!!) And I got 2 pairs instead... And these white-gladiator-like sandals were (I feel like) made to be mine.. Hohohoho... From Rp 250, I got it only Rp 100... Ahahahahahahah....

The hat belongs to my BF's mother... Wohoooo... 

And this SELI (sepeda lipat) belongs to my BF.. I really like to ride it.. It looks cute all the time...

A Return

After years of pause, finally I can come back here.. :D

Well, I had passed many holidays which I never shared here..

So, starting from now, I will 'really' try to post regularly.. (God, help me please...)

Hmm.. To start with.. I just want to recall my August moments... My BF was coming to Jakarta on 17, to pack stuff he needed to send it to Jogja.. Well, looking around his room, I spotted a remote control rock crawler on a box. Hmm.. It maybe becomes 'something' for taking a picture..

So here it is....

Well.. Maybe some of you want to order this kind of stuff (Rock Crawler).. Just comment here... The price starts from Rp 2.500..

Talking about the outfit.. I found the skirt in Gaudy (If I'm not mistaken) for Rp 80... This skirt flares so wide that's why I like it.. The T-shirt belongs to my sister (ahahahha.. I'm such a thief..).. She bought it in Seephylliz Distro for Rp 100... Nice enough since the color is purple..

This outfit finally became my favorite in August.. Hohohoho...
